Privacy policy

• Order information — your name, shipping and billing address, email and phone number, so we can fulfil and deliver your order.
• Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never stored on our systems; we only receive confirmation of payment and the last four digits for reference.
• Email list — if you join our list (for example, for 10% off your first order), we store your email address and use it only for store emails you signed up for.
• Basic technical data — standard server logs and cookies needed for the cart and checkout to work.

To process and ship your orders, to communicate with you about them, to handle returns and support, to prevent fraud, and — only if you've opted in — to send you our weekly drop emails. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate.

Only the services that make the store run: Stripe (payments), our shipping carriers (so your order can be delivered), and our hosting and email providers. Each receives only what it needs. We never sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Order records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting and warranty purposes under Canadian law. Email list information is kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your personal information at any time, subject to records we're legally required to retain.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Privacy requests go to NorthFinds, Halifax, Nova Scotia via the site's contact route, and we'll respond within 30 days.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. The version here is the one that applies to your order.
